Czech mezzo-soprano Dana Šťastná (b.*1985) won second prize at the Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary. 
She studied singing at Pardubice Conservatoire, graduating in 2010. In the same year she became laureate at the Competition Festival of Conservatoires. She finished her Master’s programme at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the tutelage of Martin Bárta.

In 2014 Dana Šťastná participated in international singing courses of singing and
performing arts at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna (Regine Köbler, KS Berndt Weikl). In 2016 she participated in masterclass with Edita Gruberova in Richard Strauss festival in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, also masterclas with Brigitte Fassbaender in Prague and masterclass with José Cura in Prague.
